  • Can I purchase firearms and ammunition at the 2019 Concealed Carry Expo?

Yes, Firearms and ammunition will be available for purchase at the Concealed Carry Expo. However, per the request of our venue, the purchased firearms cannot change hands on premise at the event.

The only way guns may be purchased while attending the USCCA Concealed Carry Expo is by following this method:

Attendees must bring to the Expo a paper copy of the Federal Firearms License (FFL) from their preferred local gun dealer (or for one of the local dealers near Pittsburgh*). One paper copy of an FFL is required for each gun purchased and to have shipped. The PDF or clear photo of that FFL can be presented using a mobile phone and can be provided via email that to the retailer if a paper copy is unavailable.

While paying for the gun, the purchaser must ask the vendor to ship the gun to the local FFL dealer and ensure the seller marks the shipment to
    the purchaser’s attention.

Purchasers must then contact the local FFL dealer to notify them of the purchased firearm and to expect it’s shipment in the near future, and ask them to notify the attendee as soon as it arrives. It is important to provide a good phone number to both parties of where purchaser can be reached.

When the gun arrives at the selected dealer, the purchaser will be required to fill out the ATF Form 4473 and go through the background check and transfer process.
